A beautiful life well lived ended peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2017, when Rosemary Jones Weber drifted into her heavenly home. She was a beautiful free spirited and loving person. Rosemary Jones Weber was born to the union of the late Clarence Hable Jones Sr., and the late Mary Lee Arnett Jones in New Orleans, Louisiana and was raised in Natchez, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Chapel #2, A.M.E. Church, in Natchez, Mississippi. She graduated from Sadie V. Thompson High School, Natchez, Mississippi, and Straight Business School (present day Dillard University), New Orleans, Louisiana.

She was united in Holy Matrimony on May 18, 1968, to the late Robert Lee Weber. They were the loving and proud parents of one daughter, Rocquel Latrice Weber, and one son, Rochon Arnett Weber, to whom they dedicated their lives. Rosemary's love for her family was unconditional, and will forever be missed.

Rosemary was a dedicated employee of AT&T (South Central Bell/Bellsouth) for over 30 years, retiring in the year 2000. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, New Orleans, and a charter member of Greater Salvation Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active, and loyal member under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Lloyd Johnson, and Reverend Kenneth Bell. She was a faithful member of the church choir until her death.

Her parents, Clarence Hable Jones Sr. and Mary Lee Arnett Jones, her husband, Robert Lee Weber, five sisters, Emma Lee Jones Bassett, Dorothy Mae Jones Harvey, Joyce Marie Jones Davis, Geraldine Jones Hardy, and Helen Louise Jones Nelson preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, two devoted brothers, Clarence Hable Jones Jr. (Tywana) of Natchez, Ms., and Louis Edward Jones, of Dallas, TX., two loving children, Rocquel Latrice Weber Milsap (Perry), of Harvey, LA., and Rochon Arnett Weber (Dion) of Gretna, LA.., six adoring grandchildren, Rochon Arnett Hudgins, Caleb Robert Weber, Destiny Jenae Sandolph-Milsap, Perry Reece Milsap, Daneia Rocio Williams, and Peyton Robert Milsap; two Godsons, Steven Thomas (Shaunda) and Zetron Harvey, both of Chicago, IL.., and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officer, members and friends of Greater Salvation Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Employees and former employees of AT&T, Bellsouth, and South Central Bell, employees of the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Probation Office, Eastern District of Louisiana, and employees and patrons of Diamond Cuts Barber Shop are invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Rosemary Jones Weber at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Greater Salvation Missionary Baptist Church, 2531 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA 70113. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment: Providence Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 8200 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA, 70003. Arrangements by D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home.
