It was in New Orleans that she met her life's partner, Farrell J. H. Christophe, Sr. They were wed on October 30, 1965. To this union two children were born: Farrell, Junior and Angela Elise.
Farrell Jr. preceded Mary in death. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, her daughter, Angela Ivey Christophe and son-in-law, Michael Ivey.
In their later life, Sis and Farrell relocated from New Orleans to the home of her ancestors, Natchitoches Parish, where they were actively involved in St. Augustine Catholic Church and the parish community.
Sis will be deeply missed by her brothers, Richard Delphin (Adelle), Walter Delphin (Ann) and Wilfred Delphin. Sis' youngest brother, Raymond and Wilfred's partner, Edwin Romain, Jr. preceded her in death. She will also be missed by her nephews Richard Vincent Delphin (Chanda), Cecil Nicholas Delphin (Juanita); her niece, Semerian Perez (Esaul); her great nieces, great nephews and a host of extended family, dear friends and former colleagues.
