Lillie Mae Perry Polk departed this life on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 71.Wife of David James Polk, Sr. Daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Charlie Perry and Susie Grimes of Ethel, LA.Mother of David James Polk, Jr., (Courtney). Sister of Oscar Lee Perry, Sr. (Gloria); Willie Perry, Sr., (Nora) of Baton Rouge, LA; Billy Ray Perry; Felix Perry; Harriet Perry; Easter Perry; Charlie J. Perry, Jr.; John B. Perry (Jacquelyn); Lizette Perry of Ethel, LA.; Eddie Perry; MacArthur Perry (Martha) of Jackson, LA. She is also survived by her 5 granddaughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sister Lillie Perry Polk was a member of The New Inspirational Baptist Church under the leadership of former Pastor Rev. T. Lynn Robinson. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Stars where she served as a past conductress.
